Why InkCraft exists
A tattoo is a permanent decision based mostly on imagination. People spend weeks scrolling Pinterest, screenshotting references, then walking into a shop hoping the picture in their head matches the result on their skin. Most don't. The number-one regret tattoo wearers report — across every survey — is "I wish I'd seen it on me first."
InkCraft fixes that one specific thing. Upload a photo of where you want the tattoo. Describe what you want, or pick from thousands of designs. The app generates a photorealistic preview on your skin in seconds. Try ten variations before you book the appointment. Show your artist exactly what you mean.
How the AI works
The app uses a combination of image-to-image and text-to-image generation models, tuned specifically for tattoo placement on human skin. We process your photo securely — it goes to our generation backend, the preview is produced, the photo is returned to your device. We don't train models on your photos. We don't use them for any purpose other than producing the preview you asked for. The full policy is in our Privacy Policy.
Who's behind this
InkCraft is built by a small independent team that's been working on consumer AI since 2023. Tattoo preview is the first product. There's no venture capital, no advertising, no data harvesting. The app makes money the simple way — subscriptions and credit packs through the App Store.
